Nelson Barndominium - Custom Two Story Barndominium in Moorhead, MN

The Nelson barndominium is a custom barndominium we built just outside Moorhead, MN for a family that wanted a home, hangout, and active rec space all under one roof. As a barndominium builder serving the Fargo-Moorhead region and greater North Dakota, we finished the two-story structure with green metal siding, a metal roof, a stone chimney, and a wooden front porch. The outdoor living area features a fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs and a black metal bench on the concrete patio, all backing onto open farmland. Inside the recreation wing, we built a multi-use court for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, giving the family year-round indoor activity space. It is one of our favorite examples of how a residential steel building can blend home and lifestyle without compromise.
